A caravan holiday offers freedom of the road. Everything is to hand wherever you stop, cups of tea, toilets, a rest break in the nearest lay by.

 

 

People who own caravans are out and about frequently. A caravan provides accommodation for weekend escapes and long holidays. There are of course fees to park your caravan at a caravan site and there are a few around Land's End. Lots of caravan owners are members of the caravan club which helps to organise trips and discounts for members.

Not everyone has the resources to purchase a caravan, the next best alternative is to rent a static caravan in a holiday park. Kids will like the experience because it's new. Try everything at least once.

A caravan provides a comfortable place to shelter if the rain is teeming down. You can sit and read book with a cup of coffee at hand without a care in the world. It might be a little more difficult to amuse any children in a confined space and families with a number of children may consider renting a spacious holiday cottage instead.

Rent a touring caravan to visit Land's End and stop off at Sennen Cove and beautiful quiet coves and beaches that attract you. A three or four centre holiday in Cornwall is no problem if your drive a camper van or rent a touring caravan.

 

Things for families to do on a caravan holiday at Land's End:

• There is a 4D cinema and various other entertainments for families at the Land's End Visitor Centre.
• The children could 'paint a pot' at the pottery at the art and craft workshops at the Visitor Centre, also a small animal corner with chickens, pigs and other farmyard animals.
